In Old English Common Law, Libera Lex referred to the Law of Freemen. The Founders took Latin names to protect their identity. Alexander Hamilton, John Jay & James Madison used the name Publius to write the Federalist Papers. In that spirit I created Libera Lex.
Water is the next big crisis...and it is already here actually. Multinationals are looking for valuable water resources which are worth more now than oil. A cheap bottle of Desani costs more per gallon than gasoline (filtered tap water made by Coca Cola and more profitable than coke since they don't even have to add sugar). And it is the next step in controlling you by controlling all the building blocks of your life!
Only 3% of the planet's water is drinkable. Much of that comes from underground aquifers. When you "mine" the aquifer for water faster than nature can replenish it, it begins to collapse and can never be replaced. The multi-billion dollar bottled water industry is contributing to the permanent demise of these irreplaceable resources.
You have to stop drinking bottled water - it is not even all that healthy. Test have shown than many bottled waters are not only just filtered tap water - they are often more contaminated than the tap water was. At the least they contain chemicals called plasticizers that leach into the water from the plastic bottles. The 200 billion bottles sold each year then mostly end up in landfills or polluting the environment, especially the ocean where there is an island of plastic garbage floating around the size of Texas.
You can filter your water or use reverse osmosis, but that isn't even the healthiest water. You need to recreate the original natural live, structured, alkaline character of the water. Fortunately devices called Water Ionizers do that. They look expensive but when you consider the costs of bottled water (more than gasoline) and the health care costs of getting sick from eating and drinking junk, these things pay for themselves in a year or two...less for a family of 4. The ONLY way to get pure, healthy water affordable and reliably is to make it yourself! You can do that in your own kitchen with a water ionizer. I know of a couple of good deals if you want one, and I am not trying to sell you one - just get them wherever you cabn. Almost all water ionizer do a pretty good job these days, though there are one or two brands I think are superior values in cost and performance...but any modern brand will do the job. For $150 you can even buy plans to build one yourself - they work but making the water takes a little time.
There are certain basic essentials to all of life - the building blocks. First, we have to be able to breath - we die in seconds without air. Second, we have to drink water - we die in hours without it. Third, we have to eat or we die in a few weeks without it. Fourth, we have to find shelter or we can die from exposure to the elements which varies depending on where you live. Fifth, we need social relations - primates die without it. Of course, these are the physical building blocks.
There are also spiritual building blocks. For now I'll focus on the more practical, physical blocks. Suffice it to say that when you handle these, get out of your programmed, numbed, manipulated state of mind, your own renewed awareness of these possibilities will likely guide you.
Controlling the water supply is all part of the effort of big brother to obtain control over all the building blocks. When that is done our need for survival and to protect our families can overcome our desire to save the Republic, at least that is the theory...of course they are not counting on the fact that the Founders and people like them today are willing to sacrifice everything including their lives if it should come to that -- though of course we hope other means will prevail long before that.
They already control (or are trying to control) our housing (mortgage crisis, eminent domain), control our wallets (economic crisis, banking, unemployment), control our minds (pharmaceuticals, allopathic medicine, mass media), control our food (Codex, FDA, genetic engineering), control our air (cap & trade/CO2, chem-trails, global warming), control our relationships (illegal immigration & breakdown of cultural integration, breakdown of tradition marriage & family concepts, incorporated churches, the race card, tv, online gaming, attempting to control the Internet, etc.) and control our health (health care bill, FDA, AMA, etc.). How much more are you going to take? "Under color of law," in many ways we have already lost our freedoms. We are wards of the state, serfs or slaves (also known in law as employees, BTW).
We have to start taking America back. We need to do this the same way the Founders took America back from the King. They spent many years using various legal means to redress their grievances. Not until all possible administrative procedures were exhausted (a requirement under international law) did the Founders even consider separation from England. Even then they didn't resort to violence...they kept trying to do it legally, responsibly - even after the British started shooting. Violence was the last desperate resort, one which I hope will never need today, and we are a long way off from needing it.
So one by one we have to take back our building blocks of life. We do this first on an individual level, by taking responsibility for our own lives, for the air we breath, the food we eat, the water we drink, the relationships we contribute to and that nurture us, our financial needs, our housing needs, etc., etc.
To get started, we can begin by taking responsibility for the very first responsibility we are born with, and that we were created with - what we put into our mouths. In the Garden of Eden we were given just one responsibility, to be aware of what we put in our mouths, We blew that one right off! What you eat and drink is your first step to good health and more awareness, compassion, intelligence and freedom.
Second, take responsibility for what we drink and get live, healthy, pure alkaline water that hasn't been killed by processing, bottling, and chemical additives.
Third, take responsibility for your communication and relationships. It helps to be eating and drinking healthy stuff to reacquaint ourselves with a loving, compassionate heart to do this one. We need to heal toxic relationships, get out and share ourselves by contributing to others and our community because you only truly experience who you are when you are contributing or making a difference to others.
Learn how to eat live, healthy food, which means mostly organic, vegetarian and as uncooked and unprocessed as possible. The big corporate restaurant chains and fast food joints do not have your well being and health in their marketing plan at all.
Discover the freedom of living within your means and without debt.
Discover the freedom of being forgiving and compassionate, for yourself and the process/opportunity you are experiencing as well as for others.
And try to be thankful for everything you have, or don't have, the breakdowns and the breakthroughs, the good and the bad since the bad is just an opportunity to discover the good -- it is all a gift anyway.
I guess I got a bit carried away...I just wanted to write about water - but it is all connected. So this is just how I cope with my own opportunities/challenges, health, diet, and personal eccentricities. I just hope some of my ramblings inspire one or two readers to take back responsibility for their lives from big brother. Find your own path. You don't have to do it my way. Come to think of it, you're probably better off if you don't take the road I did - it was a bit rocky.
